Happy 5th Birthday Baby Boy!

It all started with a sick day from work. I thought I was sick with the flu... I was throwing up and just down right tired. Went to the DR. To confirm it was the flu and not something I needed medication for and she said well I think you have the Nine month Flu.

As time went by and an ultrasound was in scheduled everyone kept asking me are you gonna find out what the baby is (boy/girl)? I said No I want it to be a surprise. Day of the ultrasound the Dr. didnt ask the same question. lol He just said OH BOY! That is the clearest picture of male genitals I have ever seen on one of these machines. lol Next thing I said is I am going to have a son? Sure enough 5 months later on May 14th, 2003 11:49pm I was a VERY PROUD MOTHER TO RAYVEN DAVID-THOMAS!

Rayven this is to you Son~

You are one of the most important things in my life, You make my world go round. We love you with every bit of our hearts and then some. Without you (and your Brother and Sister) I would be lost. You make your dad and I proud every single day. I look at you and think, Man I have a very awesome little guy in you.

No Amount of gold could ever compare, To the Gift of love that my son shares.
I've been blind and I couldn't see that all the love I've wanted is right here in front of me.
He gives reason to get through another day.
Maybe it's how he loves me in his special little way.
And when it gets hard for me to sleep at night.....
He wraps his little arms around me and says God will make things right!
From sweet gentle touches to his bear hugs and a kiss....
He makes hell on earth seem more like a peaceful bliss.
That great big kool-aid smile and the twinkle in his eyes...
Every time I look at him it makes me want to cry.
But they're not tears of sorrow; They're tears of pride and joy....
Too know that all the love in heaven is wrapped around my little boy.
